Frequently Asked Questions

There is no previous knowledge of the Arabic language required. The Arabic program is built to tailor to all student language levels.

There are no prerequisites, the course is open to all those that have a desire to learn!

The Arabic curriculum that will be used was built in partnership by Ibn Haldun University and Al-Madina Institute. It will concentrate on giving students the 4 basic skills needed to master the Arabic language (reading, writing, speaking, comprehension) as well as grammar.

Yes! This is a live in-person interactive program with native Arabic speaking instructors. All classes will be delivered live over Zoom.

The full program will consist of a total of about 178 hours, and the part time program will consist of about 85 hours of instruction.

Students enrolled in the full time program will meet five days a week, Monday through Friday. Students enrolled in the part time program will meet three days a week.

Classes will be conducted in two seventy five minute sessions with a fifteen-minute break in between.

For a class to commence there must be a minimum of five students. Class size will not exceed eight students.

Each student will be assessed by our Arabic language staff to see where their current placement is. The assessment will consist of an online interview. Once your level is assessed, you will be placed in the class suitable to your language needs. We use the standards set forth by ACTFL (American Council on the Teaching of Foreign Languages).

You will be required to spend approximately 30 minutes to 1 hour on homework and study time outside of class time daily.

50% of the tuition will be refunded prior to the start of the program.

No refunds will be given after the start of the program unless circumstances warrant consideration.
